PIGs
Pretty, Intelligent Girls
Three sisters, three houses, one wolf. In the tidy town of Junction, Lemke is drawn into a relentless search for her sister, Sorrow. She can feel the pull in her bones—and she resents every moment of it. Their youngest half-sister, Brilliance, is hesitant to intervene until a strange and unsettling magic emerges, with Sorrow—the grand and ever unfortunate Sorrow—at its heart.
As Lemke faces the shadow left behind by the wolf, she prepares to destroy it by any means necessary. But Brilliance soon discovers an unsettling truth: as the daughter of the wicked wolf, she holds a key to Sorrow’s survival. To save their sister, Lemke and Brilliance must bridge the chasm of mistrust and pain between them before the darkness consumes them all—or Lemke’s blade finds its mark too soon.
A tale of magic, sisterhood, and the ghosts of the past, PIGs explores the shadows that haunt us and the bonds that just might save us.

Poetry
Eatakiss
I could eatakiss. I could take it
like pig snout or chicken feet - and eat it. Stuff it in my face.
gnaw, pull, and chew.
Smash it on the table like
an unbreakable walnut:
don't.you.ever.do.that.ever.again!
I would shout
before I broke it with my teeth.
I would slap its face. indignantly.
I would not be nice.
